Earth~Heart~Om...
‘Eartheartom’ is the name of the website of Jeanette Tuppen, a healer, a shaman, and author of ‘Poetry for the Awakening Soul ~ vol 1: Is There More to Life Than This?’. The image, based on an original concept by Jeanette, combines the ‘earth’, the beating ‘heart’ in the shape of the sun, and the universal ‘Om’ which is the entire universe, all that is, ever was and ever will be. The picture, created in Photoshop, represents Jeanette’s enormous energy, passion and capacity to facilitate personal transformation. If you would like to be greeted by a powerful image each time you sit down at your computer, this should do the trick!
More about Jeanette Tuppen and her poetry
Jeanette’s poetry comes form her remarkable ability to see words within words; for example did you realise that ‘silent’ and ‘listen’ have the same letters, as do ‘earth’ and ‘heart’, and that ‘lost’ can be found in ‘stolen’ and ‘give’ is found in ‘receiving’? Her poems uplift and inspire, one of our favourites at Relax for Health is this one, Trustworthy, a meditation on the difference between who we are (at the core of our being) and how we are (in terms of how we sometimes behave when we forget who we really are). Trustworthy
Who you are is always trustworthy, How you are, is not, Who you are, rests in truth, How you are, does not.
How you are looks for worth, And prone to worry, Is often hurt and in a hurry, Questions why? Then tells a story, Has to try, but still not worthy. Sees the worst in you, And not the truth in you.
So now you have a choice of two, Do you trust how? Or do you trust who? And It’s not that who is more holy than how, Because it’s not, It is just that…
Who you are is always trustworthy, And how you are is not!
And it’s fun to see, those of us, Who only ever want to be a ‘who’ Because we think it is the right thing to do, And never want to be a ‘how’, Because that’s not living in the ‘now’. And the joke is, In that very moment, We are not ‘who-ing’, We are actually ‘how-ing’.
